- A day at the British Library hearing from experts about the sophisticated art found in manuscripts from the Anglo-Saxon kingdoms. The talks will explore the interconnected cultural world of illuminated manuscripts from Britain, Ireland and continental Europe.

Study days are open at the Menuhin Hall, Stoke d’Abernon, starting at 9.30am with registration and normally running from 10am to 4pm. The fee, including coffee or tea and biscuits, is £10 for members and £12 for guests. Attendees should bring a packed lunch.
