5th March Monthly Meeting – Social and Political Satire in Gilbert & Sullivan by Bernard Lockett

This takes a wry look at the vast amount of satire and social comment within the works, much of which has relevance to the present day. This is a return visit by Bernard Lockett, who last came to us about five years ago and was well received.

Talk with visuals and sound clips by Bernard Lockett

Open to Members only at a charge of £1, these are usually held on the first Monday of the month at the United Reformed Church, Eden Street, Kingston at 2pm (doors open at 1.30). If this falls on a Bank Holiday, the meeting will take place on the following Monday.  Coffee and biscuits are available after the talk.
