4th Nov Kingston U3A AGM Followed by Monthly Meeting -The Life of R.C.Sheriff

4 Nov 1.30pm: Kingston u3a Annual General Meeting 2pm: To Journey’s End: The Life of R C Sherriff – Pete Allen Director of the R C Sherriff Trust, Pete describes how a shy insurance salesman from Hampton Wick wrote one of the most moving and true accounts of life in the trenches of WW1 in his play Journey’s End. He later became one of the most highly paid screenwriters in Hollywood.

Monthly Meetings Meetings are held at the United Reformed Church in Kingston on the first Monday of each month unless it is a bank holiday. Doors open at 1.30pm for a prompt 2pm start. Entrance fee is £1. Tea/Coffee and biscuits are available at the end of the meeting.
